Fact: You are separated from God because of your
sin, and you are spiritually dead (Isaiah 59:2; Ephesians 2:1).
Fact: You are unable to come to God because, under God's law, you are
guilty and condemned (Psalm 53:2-3; Jeremiah 17:9; Romans 3:10, 23; James
2:10).
Fact: You need Jesus Christ, the only Savior, to bring you back to
God (Acts 4:10-12; 1 Timothy 2:5).
- Only Jesus lived perfectly as a man without sin
and in complete harmony with God (1 Peter 2:21-23).
- Only Jesus died a death which he did not deserve
to make Himself a substitute for you (2 Corinthians 5:21; Galatians
3:13; 1 Peter 2:24; 1 John 3:5).
- Only Jesus overcame death by His resurrection,
and only He is able to bring you to God (John 14:6).
What can you do to be right with God, to come to Him,
and to live in heaven?
NOTHING!
WHAT CAN JESUS CHRIST DO FOR YOU? He can pay the penalty for your sin,
secure His Father's forgiveness for all of your sins, and give you a new
spiritual life. Why would He do this for you? ONE REASON: HIS OWN GOODNESS
AND LOVE (Ephesians 2:8-9; John 1:12-13; John 3:16-18; Titus 3:4-5; 1 John
4:10).
